Hello all! welcome back to the Stache Spot for a Thanksgiving edition of the blog! :) What a beautiful and amazing holiday season it's turnin out to be! I am so grateful for so many things this year especially. As some of you may know I've been battling my own demons over the last year, I've hit all time lows and rock bottoms searching for even more bottoms, I seemed to have been a glutten for pain, I couldn't figure out how my life could have ever gotten to where it was. I had seemed to have lost everything besides my life, when in reality I had kept myself away from everyone who had loved me, or had hurt them to the point of not wanting to see me kill myself any longer, Then angels in the form of some of my closest humans came to pull me out of that horrible dark place I had secluded myself too. They did it with love that I didn't think I deserved and showed me I was still lovable, they made sure I got the help I needed, and I was able to kick a horrible habit. I thought after that things would ease up, but my lessons where not over yet. I returned to the desert after detox and thought I would just return to life. I lived in an illusion that everything was ok, and that I would have no problem getting back on my feet. That was not the case... Its been a journey and since many angels have blessed me and kept me afloat and alive, I've learned humility and have been humbled by how dependent I've become, and how amazingly lucky I am to have people who care enough to help me through the trying times. I am pleased to inform that I will soon be going into a treatment program in which I get to finally build myself a foundation in sobriety and to finally learn how to live life on lifes terms.. I am so unbelievably grateful for all of the blessings I've encountered from the intervention to save my life, the food that I've been fed, the roof's I've been able to sleep under, the kind words of encouragement and the unconditional love, the dollars spent to keep me alive and well, everything down to the nitty gritty, I'm lucky beyond measure as I have been given another chance and I intend on taking full advantage of this moment so that I may become my best self. I think the best gift I could give to everyone who loves me is a clean and sober me working on myself to grow into someone who can live life on lifes terms and not turn to drugs to fill holes I've put there in most cases. To be an independent thriving self loving sober person that I finally can see in there. I'm told I'll be loved until I can love myself and the evidence couldn't be greater, the love and support I feel on this journey has been a very healing element in my journey. I know it's the beginning but I am excited for this positive change, as I plan to do more positive and healthier choices in my life. I want to take a moment to just thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love and encouragement, for not completely giving up on me when I had for myself, for seeing the true me through it all, for holding me up when I was down, for being there as a friend, as my family! I will love you guys unconditionally for the rest of my life you all are amazing. Bouncing around I've been invited into some amazing and loving peoples lives, that love and accept me as I am, It's been such a beautiful journey. They've shown me how much I'm loved, and I'm so extremely grateful for all of you! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!
