The Weens of Hallows!!! Bwahahaha!!!

Hello my friends, back at you with a Half-way to Halloween Post to get you geared up for the best Halloween 2018!!


Halloween is a great time for kids and us adults as we get to dress in costume and enjoy the festivities and culture surrounding Halloween, as kids we "Trick or Treat"'ed down the streets of our neighborhoods hoping to fill our bag, bucket, or pillowcase so that we could eat candy for an eternity or at least how it would seem, as adults we have an opportunity to create the themes and environments to provide a fun, festive and most importantly safe conditions for the kids to experience Halloween as it should be..

For me growing up walking around in Brooklyn as a young boy, Neighborhoods used to compete and deck out their places, some scarier then the next all of them were safe and they where more fun then any theme park because it's your neighborhood, transformed into a whole new environment, some zombies, some vampires all fun, it was a special time to grow up yes, but I for one don't feel it should be gone... but instead as the kids who experienced it re-creating well more like co-creating as you put your touches on it and see your neighbors in awe at your creation...

I come from a time when we used to have Block Parties, they would close down the whole block so cars couldn't drive, the whole neighborhood would have their chairs out on the street, some people would barbeque others just enjoying the music and the sound of the kids having the time of their lifes, as a kid those are some of my favorite memories, really anytime being part of groups of people having a good time together is a favorite memory for me... I guess in some ways block parties were like a stepping stone into throwing events with my fam, there is no better feeling just like being out there in the sun as a kid at a block party, like throwing an event with the people you love as a family.

The point was.... Don't be lazy...Make badass Halloweens your kids and the neighborhood kids wont forget... and most importantly HAVE FUN DOING IT! some of the best part of having kids in your life is enjoying the things you used to as a kid with yours... Make a tradition out of it and continue building on it year to year and pass it on to your children... and have the Happiest and Scariest of Halloweens!!! BWahahahahaha.....
